Engagment rings are wonderful symbol of commitment for your future love-for-life. So let us whet your appetite in this moment. Let us educate you on what we know best, diamonds! The diamond is an illustrious mystery, the hardest mineral on earth, and commands the gaze of people. But what matters most is quite simple, do you find it beautiful/pretty? Jewelry is for your enjoyment and can enhance any look, any outfit, on any day. You and your true love can truly fully experience the decadence of a owning a diamond. We categorize the value of diamonds by the "4 Cs": cut, colour, clarity, and carat and here we will take you through the four step.
CUT
The cut of a diamond determines by it's ability to refract and disperse light upon contact with light sources, which is measured by it's proportions, symmetry, and how well polished its exterior is. An excellent cut diamond will not look milky or cloudy, and will refract light to return back to through the table into the viewer's eyes. We bring diamonds cut from a different cloth to the table, no matter what shape is desired. Shape, however, is different, it is basically the physical exterior/outline of the diamond. You can request a made-to-order shape to your liking, we however, love to provide the timelessl shapes: Round, Oval, Pear, Marquis, Cushion, Radiant, Emerald, and Princess. Under the right circumstances such as, setting and lighting, any shape will bring out the colorful luster back to the wearer.

Other shapes apart from traditional are customized such as Trilion and Hearts; rarely sought out, but beautiful nonetheless,

COLOR
Color is one of the most important aspects of choosing a diamond. There is a color scale determining a diamond's color. D-F being colorless, G-H being near colorless. Descending down the scale makes the diamond appear more faint-yellow/light yellow in color, but not at all a flaw. However, D-F mined diamonds are incredibly rare, and only consist of less than 2% of all existing natural diamonds in the world.
Diamonds also vary in the color scale as well, not only to yellow, but also natural pink and blue! Though incredibly rare for the earth to make, that shouldn't stop you from being curious about a uniquely colored diamond. These are also diamonds that Diamonds by Johar are capable working with.
Blue diamonds are born from a trace amounts of boron in the earth. Yellow diamonds form when their is nitrogen present in its structure, causing it to absorb the blue in the visible light spectrum. Pink diamonds form when its latice is distorted due to intense pressure and heat affecting it on all sides. Brown diamonds form when nickel and nitrogen atoms are introduced into its crystal formation.

CLARITY
Clarity is something to be heavily considered, there is also a scale that determines the clairty of a diamond, those determinants are natural inclusions, and too many inclusions in a diamond affects its ability to refract light naturally as it can inhibit natural light from passing through smoothly. A diamond FL-IF essentially indicates a completely flawless diamond, though incredibly rare. Don't be fooled by the myth than anything SI and lower is less valuable, as small inclusions cannot be seen with the naked eye unless one uses a microscopic lens. A well cut diamond, as long as it is able to refract light back to the owner, still retains its value.
CARAT
Choosing the carat of your diamond should be discussed with your jeweler, this determines the weight of the diamond you want in your setting. Idealy, for a diamond to appear prominent on a setting, a carat weight above 0.30 is prefered. You will want a diamond that is in harmony with the width of the band. Nothing too wide that the diamond appears smaller, and not a diamond too large that the setting can't support. Speak to your jeweler about band width preferences and they will give you a good visual on what band will complement with a certian diamond size and weight.
MISC. DESIGN: PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE
As indicated, a diamond with a row of three stones, left and right being identical, and a prominent center stone signifies the past, present, and future. They represent the love you demonstrated when you were courting, the present love and cherishings you show today, and the hopes for a bountiful and loving future.
